Facebook is social networking sites that aim to enable people to communicate with each other and exchange information.
It was founded in 2004 by Mark Zuckerberg, who studied at Harvard University.  The social networking site, originally written only for Harvard University, later included Boston executive schools and hosted Ivy League schools, "making great progress" for 2 months.
After two years, Facebook was accessed with all schools in the United States of America.  Facebook was the first to become widespread, in order to become a member of the site, only the school's e-mail address edu, .ac.uk, etc.was registered.  Later, high schools and some large sites were included in the site.  On September 11, 2006  Facebook started to be opened with all e-mail addresses, but certain age restrictions were imposed.  Since March 13, 2009, Facebook's new interface has been used in all accounts.
It derives its revenue from logo advertisements and sponsor groups, and in April 2006 it was determined that this income was $ 1.5 million per week.  The purpose of using Facebook and the possibilities include restricting the profiles to be visible only to friends or to add a certain profile.  The most interesting reason why Facebook's colors are usually blue is that its founder, Mark Zuckerberg, is color blind.  The most important versions updated in the language version are Galician, Hungarian, Nyorsk Norwegian, Romanian, Slovenian and Thai on 9 October 2008, Albanian on 4 September 2009, Azerbaijani on 2 October 2009, Kurdish in full version on 24 December 2009.  .
Facebook offers worldwide access to the assets it contains.  According to Alexa's statistics, it is the second most visited site on August 31, 2014.  Facebook, which has shown great construction over time, is the most used social networking site today and has 1 billion 350 million users.

According to the research that compares the advertising revenues of the platforms according to the number of followers, a person with more than 7 million followers on Facebook earns 187 thousand 500 dollars, this goes up to 300 thousand dollars on YouTube, 150 thousand dollars on Instagram and 60 thousand dollars on Twitter.

Who owns how much on Facebook

Mark Zuckerberg, facebook, facebook login, United States of America, world facebook, Who owns how much on Facebook,

One of the most curious issues about Facebook's IPO application is who owns how much in the world's largest social network.  With the application submitted to the SEC, there are all the secrets of Facebook that have never been known to date, as well as all the details that are curious about this issue.

Facebook, whose public offering figure was announced as $ 5 billion, has received a total investment of $ 2.4 billion so far.  Therefore, it has many investors and shareholders.  As you can imagine, 27-year-old Mark Zuckerberg holds the most shares alone.  The more important detail about Zuckerberg, who owns 28.2 percent of Facebook shares, is the voting right in the company.

Zuckerberg's voting right on Facebook is 56.9 percent.  So he has the power to make all the decisions alone.  Although this situation has not caused any serious problems so far, a company where all decisions can be taken by one person at the public offering point can be considered risky.

Jim Breyer of Accel Partners holds the most shares on Facebook after Zuckerberg.  Breyer, who managed Accel's investment in Facebook in 2006, owns 11.4 percent of both Accel and Facebook together with his personal shares.  Within this ratio, Accel has a total of 190 million shares and Breyer has 11.7 million shares.

The share of Dustin Moskovitz, one of the founders of Facebook, is 7.6 percent.

Russian investment firm Digital Sky Technologies is one of Facebook's most loyal investors.  DST, which had previously invested around 700 million dollars in Facebook in 2009 and 2011, also bought the shares of some of Facebook's existing investors over time and provided them with an early exit opportunity.  DST's total share of shares on Facebook is 5.5 percent.

Peter Thiel, who sold it to eBay after setting up PayPal, is another Facebook shareholder named in the SEC application.  Thiel invested $ 500,000 in Facebook in 2004 and acquired over 10 percent shares in return.  Facebook's first angel investor, Thiel, has sold some of its shares over time, and its share before the public offering is 2.5 percent.

These are Facebook shareholders with ratios above 1 percent.  There is no detailed information about the shareholders whose shares are less than 1 percent.  But there are very important names on this list that we cannot pass without mentioning.

One of them is Microsoft.  Having invested $ 240 million in Facebook in 2007 and owning 1.6 percent of the company, Microsoft has reduced its share rate over time.  Goldman Sachs, Elevation Partners, Founders Fund are among the other shareholders whose share rates are not specified.

Mark Pincus, the founder of Zynga, which provides 12 percent of Facebook's revenue, is also a Facebook shareholder.  A dentist, who made the first seed investment to make Facebook come to life between 2004 and 2005, also holds 2 million shares of Facebook.  His name is Edward Zuckerberg and he is Mark's father.
